You know, Google wasn’t kidding when they said there would be 18 to 20 new Android phones coming this year. In addition to our list of upcoming phones here and here, below is a list of a few that were recently rumored or announced.

1. HTC Hero. This device got all the hoopla when it got announced by HTC. The device is as official as it can be with HTC’s site having full details around it. What we like the most about it? The new Sense UI that is exclusive to this Android device. Check out HTC’s site for more details.HTC-Hero-217x300

2. Huawei U8230. The Chinese company has officially launched this device at CommunicAsia. With a 3.5” touch screen and a 3.2 MP camera, this one looks pretty much like a run-of-the-mill Android phone.

3. Samsung Bigfoot.  This one is only currently being rumored. BGR reported earlier this month that this Android phone will be heading to T-Mobile. The main differentiating feature is a beautiful 3.0” AMOLED capacitive display and a full QWERTY keyboard. Can’t wait to see this one.

4. Motorola Android Phone. Not a lot of details around this one so far, but Motorola will probably release more than a single Android-based handset this year. They need Android big time for their comeback. No official or even trusted rumored pix yet, but if you’d like to dream the big dream, you can cross your fingers for Motorola’s phone to look something like the one below.
